This option was created for those trekkers who loves, want to life, and enjoy to 100% the Salkantay Trail nature attractions, like lakes, snow caped peaks, valleys, rivers, and more. During this trail, we will have a more comfortable hike with few hours every day but with more time to enjoy each attractions. Book now a different salkantay trail.
DAY 1: Cusco – Mollepata - Challacancha - Soraypampa (Humantay Lake).
DAY 2: Soraypampa - Soyrucocha, Salkantay mountain and Lake - Wayracmachay
DAY 3: Wayracmachay - Colpapampa - La Playa
DAY 4: La Playa - Llucmabmba - Coffe plantations – Santa Teresa Hot springs
Day 5: Llucmabmaba - llacatapata - Hidroelectrica - Aguas Calientes
DAY 6: The Expected Day – The Inca Citadel (Machu Picchu)

Departures:Our company has daily departures to Salkantay, since 2 to 10 participants maximum per group, we are a 100% direct trekking tour operator, sustainable and responsible with Nature.
Wake up at 4:30 am, because we are going to pick up you since 5 to 5:30am to travel until Mollepata village for a 3 hours approximately. where we will have time to buy some last supplements or for breakfast, then we will continue until Challacancha place, where we will meet the support staff, and start our hike for a 3 hours until Soraypampa base camp for the lunch. In the afternoon, we are going to visit the Humantay Lake, to that lake we need to hike like 1 hour and half up. The camping and dinner is on Soraypampa.
After breakfast, we are going for 3 hours with slow hike until Suyrucocha point for lunch, from where we can see the salkantay glacier and some falcons flaying over us. Then we are continuing for a 1 hour uphill until Salkantay Pass and Salkantay Lake, after visit the places we will start to descent until Wayracmachay base camp for the dinner, during the night if the weather is good we will have some spectacular views of Salkantay.
Today after the nutritive meals, we will say good-bye Salcantay, because we are continuing descending until Colpapampa for the lunch, after the lunch the adventure continue for a 4 hours more to La Playa base camp for a dinner. This day the trek is inside the jungle, and we will have the opportunity to see some birds, waterfalls, fruit farms.
Today we have a small hike until Llucmabamba base camp, from here, we are going to know the coffee process since the plantation until obtain the product; and then we will have the lunch. In the afternoon we are going to the Santa Teresa host spring to swimming and finally come back to the base camp.
Today after a delicious breakfast, we are hiking uphill for a 3 hours approximately until Llactapata, there we see the archaeological site, and we can see the Machupicchu Mountain and the valley. after that we are going to descend until Hydroelectric place for a lunch and take a rest, after that in the afternoon we can continue walking for a 3 hours more until Aguas Calientes Village or we can go by train, where we will have a hotel for the last night, today the dinner is in a local restaurant.
Today is the most important, because we are going to visit the Incas city Machu Picchu. Like a 5am, we will take the bus until Machu picchu, where we will have two hours guided tour for the most important points, then you are free to take some pictures or to explore more, at 12:00pm we need to come back to the Village walking or by bus for the lunch. At 4pm, we are going to come back by train until Ollantaytambo or Poroy village, from where we will be transferred in a van to Cusco.
We include in our price these additional things, which normally are not included by companies.

• A good backpack or day backpack to carry your personal things
• Sleeping bag recommended -5 as minimum, walking sticks are recommended.

• 4 T-shirts, sun hat, two pairs of pants for the trek, gloves, 4 pairs of socks, raincoat, 1 warm jacket, extra layers.
• Camera with extra battery.
• Sunblock, sunglasses, insect repellent.
• Essential toiletries, toothbrush, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Swimsuit for swim in thermal baths.
• Water bottle (no need to bring water pills).
• Personal first aid kit.
• Head lamp.

Student Discounts apply to anyone who has a valid GREEN ISIC card at the time of the trek or is 16 years old or younger. For those using an ISIC card to receive the discount, we do need to see a copy of the card at booking. For those booking children 16 years old or younger, we need a copy of their passport at booking time. Please send all to email@example.com.
This is a 2 star hotel and is based on shared rooms - either double, matrimonial or triple. If you prefer a single room you have to add $30 US per person. All the rooms include private bathrooms with hot showers and wifi. We can also upgrade your hotel if you prefer something a little fancier or we can do the tour without hotel, if you prefer to book the hotel for Aguas Calientes for your own. Please remember that the service you receive in Aguas Calientes will not be quite as good as Cusco.
