We will picked up from your Cusco hotel between 06:15 to 06:30am; then we will travel to Train station of Ollantaytambo village in our private, we leave Ollantaytambo about 7:40am by train to Km 104. Upon arrival, we will star our hike and in the way, we are going visit the Chachabamba archaeological at 2250 masl. Here agricultural product from other areas where collected to be brought to Machu Picchu. Then we begin our walk towards to Wiñay Wayna.
On the trail, we will have beautiful views of the Urubamba River and the chances are many to see different kinds of the famous orchid family. We turn around the last corner and have the amazing Wiñay Wayna. We stop to make a visit of this interesting and important Inca site. 10 minutes more walking and we are at the “Trekker’s lodge”, where we will take our lunch, if not already eaten.
In the afternoon, we walk the last hours towards Machu Picchu, and see from distance in the beautiful afternoon sun before continuing down to Aguas Calientes. We spend the night at this beautiful town.

Today very early, we leave Aguas Calientes to reach Machu Picchu in the hours before the main group of visitors arrives. Going up by bus, we get the first glance of Machu Picchu between the mountains on its saddle high over the Urubamba River. Upon arrival, we start the guided tour of about 2 hours taking us to the most important areas of Machu Picchu. We will learn about the importance, religiously and historically, of the place, and we will be able to appreciate the fine architecture of the Incas.

After the guided tour, you have a free time and if you booked the Hauyanapicchu you can go to the top of the mountain, from where one has a good overview of the whole area and the full site of Machu Picchu. Another possibility is to visit the beautiful temple of the moon. In the afternoon, we meet in Aguas Calientes to take the train back to Cusco at 18:45 hrs.

  • ENTRANCE TIKETS: In our treks, the entrance to the Inca Trail + MachuPicchu archaeological site is included.
  • BRIEFING: Two or one night before your expeditions, we are going to your hotel or you will come to our office for your briefing, it is an information session for the tril to be ready to 100% for the trek day.
  • PROFESSIONAL GUIDES: All our guides studied English and Tourism at the University, institutes, and have many months giving support to the trekkers before to start to work in this kind of adventures like a guide.
  • HOTEL:The activity include 1 night hotel in Aguas Calientes village. We include a two star hotel with shared rooms (Double, Marital and Triple rooms). If you would like to upgrade your hotel level or prefer a single room, there will be an additional cost.
  • TRANSPORTATION:we will pick you up from your hotel at around 6 AM and carried to Ollantaytambo the day 1 and come back day 2, one way trip bus ticket form Aguas Calientes to Machu Picchu (day 2).
  • TRAIN: Is includes the round trip train from Ollantaytambo to KM104 the day 1 and the day 2 We will board the 18:25PM train from Aguas Calientes village to Ollantaytambo village. From where we transfer you to Cusco city in our car.
  • STORAGE DURING THE TREK: In the moment of the pre-departure briefing, we will provide you a small duffle bag to pack your things for the trail, this bag will carried by the horses with no option to get anything until the campsite. You should therefore bring a daypack in which you can carry your personal belongings such as camera, water and sunscreen, etc.The other part of your things that are not necessary for the trail, you can leave at hotel store or you can leave it with us until come back of the tour.
  • FIRST AID: Your safety is our number 1 concern. All our guides are trained to provide support in these causes. They all will have first aid kits and full oxygen bottle in case anything happens. We will get you off the trail as quickly and comfortably as possible, if needed and will make sure you get directly to a clinic for treatment. This is not something to worry about - but if something happens, we will be there for you.Note: before to do the trek or any type of adventure tour, we recommend you to visit your doctor and explain about the activity that will do, and please try to bring a small first aid bag each according to your conditions to stay peaceful.
  • HUAYNAPICCHU: Huaynapicchu is the mountain located inside the Machu Picchu Park and has beautiful views from the top. It takes 45 minutes to get to the top and then 45 minutes back down and is quite steep for those scared of heights. This is done after your tour of Machu Picchu and is $20 per person to hike. This is extremely popular and needs to be arranged at least a month or two prior to your trek. Please understand that we can not control weather and cloudy days will prevent perfect pictures.

This is a 2 star hotel and is based on shared rooms - either double, matrimonial or triple. If you prefer a single room you have to add $30 US per person. All the rooms include private bathrooms with hot showers and wifi. We can also upgrade your hotel if you prefer something a little fancier or we can do the tour without hotel, if you prefer to book the hotel for Aguas Calientes for your own. Please remember that the service you receive in Aguas Calientes will not be quite as good as Cusco.
