We will pick you up at your hotel at 04:00 to start this incredible expedition. We travel by van to Tinki. Tinki is a small Andean village located near Ocongate. It is here that we will know the support staff, where we will have the first breakfast, and then begin a gradual ascent hike to our lunch area for 4 hours approximately. Along the way, we will see the incredible Ausagnate peak. We walk through some traditional villages and perhaps meet some local people, dressed in their traditional clothes grazing their animals like llamas, alpacas and sheep. After lunch, we will continue with a 2-hour walk until we reach our campsite in Upis Alto, near the famous Natural spa.


Today we will wake up you with a hot tea inside your tents; then we will have the nutritious breakfast and prepare ourselves for the trail. We will have 3 hours uphill hike around to the first passage is at 5000m / 16404 ft. Where you will have a magnificent views of the surrounding area, where we will have time to take some amazing photos and then continue to the lunch spot, after lunch we will walk 3 hours until our camp in Puca Ccocha (Red Lake). This camp is one of the most beautiful.


Let's wake him up early in the morning with a cup of hot tea to start one of the most beautiful days. You will enjoy the majestic views of some of the highest peaks of the Andes and the depths of the beautiful valleys. You will have two mountain passes to do today.

After breakfast, we start with a steep climb 3 hours to Alpaca pass 5100 m / 16,732 ft elevation. Along the trail, you will always have amazing views of the blue lakes and the Ausangate peak. You can even see sometimes avalanches in the process happening since glacial hills to the lakes below. After reaching the summit of this passage, and take some great photos we continue 2 hours downhill to the location of Lunch located in Chillca Valley. After enjoying lunch and a little rest, we will continue until the second pass called Vicuña 5300m / 17388 ft. along the way, you can see some condors, vicunas if we are lucky. Since we are on top of the pass and take more pictures, we will begin to walk downhill for 1 hour to get to our camp on Lake Yanaccocha. This camp is located a few hours away from our final destination, which is the Color Mountain!


After the last breakfast, we will walk a gradual uphill of approximately 2 hours until the colorful mountain 5200m / 17060 ft (Rainbow Mountain). Where we have time to enjoy the beauty of this incredible place. The guide will also explain you why these mountains are special and really are very different from any other mountains in Peru. This is due a combination of various minerals and definitely is one of the main tourist highlights in South America and one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Peru. There is nothing else like it. Then we will have 2 hours downhill to get to our lunch spot, with options to see de Vicunas, condors some birds, local farmers, etc., after our Lunch we will come back to Cusco arriving at 6pm.

  • BRIEFING: Two or one night before your expeditions, we are going to your hotel or you will come to our office for your briefing, it is an information session for the tril to be ready to 100% for the trek day.
  • PROFESSIONAL GUIDES: All our guides studied English and Tourism at the University, institutes, and have many months giving support to the trekkers before to start to work in this kind of adventures like a guide.
  • HOTEL:The activity include 3 nights in tents.
  • FOOD & CHEFS: Many of our customers comments about the wonders of our chefs. They make magic happen on the trail in a small tent over a single flame. The food is served family style, there will be plenty of options for everyone, and always food left over. If you are vegetarian, it is not problem for us, just tell us and you will have vegetarian food. Each day will consist of breakfast, lunch, happy hour with tea and snacks and dinner. Your last meal will be breakfast of the last day. Lunch the last day is not included.
  • TRANSPORTATION: All the transportations during the trek are included, we will pick you up from your hotel at around 6 AM to carried to the trailhead (day 1) and come back.
  • HORSES AND SUPPORT STAFF: We include horses and horsemen who is responsible for carrying your duffel (7 kg of bag) with your personal items. There is no additional fee for this. We will give you your duffel bag at your briefing session and this should be filled with the things you will need on your adventure, but not during the actual hiking time.During the trek you have to bring your own daypack with the essential things, because you will have access to your duffel bag only at your evening campsite.
  • FIRST AID: Your safety is our number 1 concern. All our guides are trained to provide support in these causes. They all will have first aid kits and full oxygen bottle in case anything happens. We will get you off the trail as quickly and comfortably as possible, if needed and will make sure you get directly to a clinic for treatment. This is not something to worry about - but if something happens, we will be there for you.Note: before to do the trek or any type of adventure tour, we recommend you to visit your doctor and explain about the activity that will do, and please try to bring a small first aid bag each according to your conditions to stay peaceful.
  • RENTALS: Every trekker needs a sleeping bag when you choose a trek with camping. Inflatable air matts are optional, but do help in getting a good night sleep. Walking sticks are definitely encouraged and must have a rubber tip when bringing your own. If you do not have or want to bring any of the above, they are all available for rent:

• Warm clothes ( you can experience the four seasons in one day).
• 4 T-shirts, sun hat, two pairs of pants for the trek, gloves, 4 pairs of socks, raincoat, 1 warm jacket, extra layers.
• Camera with extra battery.
• Sunblock, sunglasses, insect repellent.
• Essential toiletries, toothbrush, baby wipes, hand sanitizer, etc.
• Swimsuit for swim in thermal baths.
• Water bottle (no need to bring water pills).
• Personal first aid kit.
• Head lamp.
• Some plastic bags in the rainy season.
